Last December, Hommes et Terre presented its Tambacounda project at the NOAH Conference in Zurich.

NOAH brought together startups, investors and projects in the world of #sustainability for two intensive days of pitching and discussions.

After five years of restoration experience in the Sahel, we were happy to present our three key learnings in building long-term successful reforestation projects with rural communities:

– Changing daily habits of rural communities

– Creating short-term incentives for ecosystem protection and restoration
